There are two books I have published about Papua

! - Bougainville Blue

A novel based on the events of the opening and closure of the Panguna mine. The author Brian Darcey was there and saw it happen. This is a rare genre of book because mostly those written about BougainvilleĀ  are non-fiction and deal with the politics of anthropology. It is now availanble on Amazon Kindle.

2 - Bamuhata

Leaving Papua, release date December 2008 - previously published by Pandanus Books

Philip Fitzpatrick was a kiap and regularly patrolled the wild environs of Papua and dealt with many situations that were alien to an Australian. His affection for the Papuans shines through. This book was used in Federal Australian Parliament to help gain awards for those who served in Papua and New Guinea Provinces when Australia controlled the area. It is available as an ebook - on Amazon Kindle.
